About

Hannah is a filmmaker who specialises in documenting arts activity and research projects with environmental and social themes. She works collaboratively with people whose lives and professions are embedded in these areas to create films that help interpret their work and messages for larger audiences.

She has been commissioned to work with a range of universities, creative organisations and not-for-profits to document their work, including Arts Council funded projects, university research projects, conferences and events. She also works with individuals and artists, creating films that document artist practices and accompany exhibitions and installations. She mostly operates as a solo filmmaker, producing, shooting and editing her own work. She has a friendly, sensitive and unobtrusive approach.

Hannah’s filmmaking practice is process-driven and collaborative. She believes fascinating stories and subjects deserve an equally fascinating narrative and enjoys immersing herself in what she’s exploring and collaborating with those involved to create that narrative. She believes strongly in the power of film to inform, inspire and drive change and aims like to highlight and celebrate our shared connections to the natural world and to each other.
